PMGC Charity Event

Dear Members,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this beautiful Naples weather. I'm excited to announce that we will be hosting our 5th Annual Charity Day Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 22nd.

Before telling you about this year's event, I wanted to give you a re-cap of last year's event that supported Youth Haven, which provides emergency shelter for children. Because of your support, we were able to raise over $115,000 which was used to renovate their Janette cottage and to provide new computers for their campus. While the cottage is still under renovation, please see the photo collages below to get a feel for the before and after look

This year's event will benefit two wonderful organizations located in SWFL. Grace Place for Children & Families and Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee.

  • Grace Place for Children and Families - is a nonprofit family literacy center committed to providing pathways out of poverty by educating children and families. Founded in 2004, Grace Place started as a homework club for children in Golden Gate City. Today, Grace Place provides year-round academic and literacy programs for low-income students through a staff of almost 120. The students are as young as 1 year old through adult learners in their 80s. The core focus of the program is on students in pre-K through high school and their parents. All programs are free to families in Golden Gate City. For more information on Grace Place, please visit their website at https://graceplacenaples.org/
  • Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee - mission is to provide exceptional educational programs to the children of Immokalee, Florida. It was founded in 1965 and was the first child care center in that under-resourced community. Pathways provides quality early learning and care to ensure children enter kindergarten prepared and ready to learn. For more information on Pathways, please visit their website at https://pathwaysearlyeducation.org/.
