Ron has been with Pelican Marsh Golf Club since 2013 as the GM/COO. Ron and his team are dedicated to membership satisfaction and constant operational improvement. Prior to Pelican Marsh, he was the General Manager at The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes, a private club in Longwood, Florida. Ron graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and later earned his MBA from the University of Central Florida. He is an active member of both the PGA and the Club Manager’s Association (CMAA). Ron lives in Naples with his wife and daughter.
As Controller of Pelican Marsh Golf Club since 2006, Karen Gross was an integral part of the transition of ownership from the developer to the membership. A member of the local Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals Association (HFTP) since 2007, she has held many key HFTP positions, including Chapter President. A resident of Naples since 2002, Karen was born in New York City and raised in Costa Rica. A Notary Public, she is also fluent in Spanish.
Director of Membership & Communications
Shea grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Prior to joining Pelican Marsh Golf Club as the Director of Membership & Communications, she worked in Brand Management & Marketing at Chico’s FAS Inc, and Retail Management at Kate Spade New York and Lilly Pulitzer. Shea lives in Naples with her husband and three daughters.
Liza grew up in Naples and has worked in the accounting field for over 17 years. Outside of work, she enjoys running, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
Food & Beverage
Executive Chef Chad Cruciotti has made service, quality, and commitment-to-members his top priority at Pelican Marsh Golf Club. A true lover of the culinary arts, this Savannah, GA, native has studied with some of the world’s finest chefs, including Italy’s Chef Simone Concas and our own Chef Messenger. Prior to coming to PMGC, he led world-class teams at two 5-star European hotels; worked under the president of the Portuguese culinary association; and helped open one of Lisbon, Portugal's most successful restaurants – Sea-me.
Kevin Mindley discovered his passion for food in his native Jamaica, where he attended the culinary academy at Runaway Bay, Saint Ann Parish located on Jamaica’s north coast. Kevin continued practicing his craft at Royal Plantation Resort by Sandals before accepting a position in 2004 located in Florida.
Since his arrival in the states, Kevin has continued to work in a variety of restaurants venues before realizing his true passion for cooking in the private club industry. Prior to his tenure at P.M.G.C. Kevin help lead teams at the Waldorf Astoria and Gulf Harbor Yacht & Country Club.
Kevin is currently an active member of the American Culinary Federation. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, learning new culinary traditions, and cultures.
Food & Beverage Director
Amy Warner joined Pelican Marsh Golf Club in 2016 as the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, and was promoted to Food & Beverage Director in September 2019. She has been in the Food & Beverage industry for over 25 years, with the last 18 years spent in private Clubs. Amy has earned her ANSI ServSafe Manager Certification from the National Restaurant Association and also acquired her Real Estate Associate License in 2006. Besides being in the Food & Beverage industry her other passions are playing/coaching softball, golf and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Amy has been in Southwest Florida for over 35 years, originally from Eaton Rapids, Michigan and currently lives in Fort Myers with her husband Jimmy. She has 4 grown daughters that are all married and is excited for the arrival of their first granddaughter.
PGA Head Golf Professional
From Boca Raton, Florida, Nick Baumhart started playing golf at the age of 14. Staying active in highly competitive junior leagues across Broward County, he was able to compete with current PGA Tour Professionals, Brooks Koepka and Billy Horschel. After gaining admission to Lynn University in Boca Raton, Nick joined the golf team as an active member where he was able to continue his competitive experiences in various tournaments. The Lynn University golf team has recorded several NCAA Division II National Championship victories and is known for its skilled player participation.
Prior to his services at Pelican Marsh Golf Club, Nick gained his professional training working in the Golf Operations at PGA Tour's TPC Eagle Trace Golf Club in Coral Springs, Florida. Here, he was able to develop his professional style and dedication to creating refined experiences under the TPC Network's standards for exceptional quality and superior customer service. Nick joined the Pelican Marsh Golf Club family in 2009, working as an Assistant Golf Professional before getting promoted to Head Golf Professional in 2013. While he is enthusiastic about the business of golf, his passion for golf instruction and player development inspires him to continue working towards becoming a Master PGA Professional with specialization in Golf Instruction.
1st Assistant Golf Professional
From Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lindsey attended the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. She was an active member of the golf team while earning her degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communications within the PGA Golf Management program.
Upon graduating in May of 2015, Lindsey accepted her first seasonal job at Wilderness Country Club in Naples, Florida for the winter season. She then traveled to Blowing Rock Country Club in North Carolina for the summer season where she gained most of her teaching experience and became very involved in the ladies’ golf programs.
Lindsey has been a PGA member since fall of 2015, and has been playing golf most of her life. She initially learned to play golf alongside her two sisters under the instruction of her dad. Lindsey and her sisters still play golf together regularly and live in the North Naples area.
Golf Course Maintenance
Director of Golf Course Operations
Since joining Pelican Marsh in 2009, Brook has helped ensure that Pelican Marsh remains a “must play” in SW Florida. Originally from Australia, he has dedicated his professional career to course perfection. A former Director of Course Operations and Course Superintendent at multiple East Coast Florida clubs – Bear Lakes, Aberdeen, Addison Reserve, and TPC Eagle Trace – Brook earned an Associate’s Degree in Turf grass Management and Soil Science, from the Brisbane Institute of Technology, Grovely, Queensland. He also completed an apprenticeship at the Royal Pines Resort, Queensland, and participated in the Ohio State University Turf grass Management Program.
1st Assistant Superintendent
Easton joined the Pelican Marsh Golf Club team in 2019 and was promoted to the 1st Assistant golf course Superintendent in 2020. Easton is a 2019 graduate of the Horry-Georgetown technical college where he obtained an Associates degree in Turfgrass Management. A Tennessee native who moved to Florida in 2008 with his parents began his golf industry career in 2012 at Harder Hall Country in Sebring, Florida. Before joining Pelican Marsh, Easton completed several internships at such clubs as, Quail Hollow Club, Chevy Chase Club and Mountain Lake Golf Club.
Carlos is a native of Chicago, with a diverse background and skill set that integrated him perfectly into a Facilities Engineer position which he has held at several prestigious private Clubs in Naples since relocating here full time with his family.
